RCEB began conducting ongoing monitoring of service settings that are required to comply with the HCBS Settings Rule. Monitoring helps ensure that services remain person-centered, integrated, and aligned with federal requirements.
During monitoring, providers may be asked to provide policies, staff training records, program documentation, individual records, schedules, examples of community access, and evidence that individuals are supported to make choices in their daily lives.
The monitoring visits may come from RCEB staff or hired consultants.
