Free consulting support for RCEB day programs and residential service providers

The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is committed to helping our provider community succeed under the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) standards. We’ve partnered with a team of experienced consultants who can provide hands-on guidance and practical tools to strengthen your program’s quality, compliance, and person-centered supports.

 

This service is free and optional, but we strongly encourage all RCEB-funded day programs and residential homes to take advantage of it.

 

About the HCBS Consulting Service

 

Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) offers HCBS Consulting Services through a team of 12 expert consultants, each capable of supporting a variety capacity of residential and day programs on their path to HCBS compliance and excellence. Currently, there are over 700 eligible programs, exceeding the total support capacity of our consulting team.

 

Providers are encouraged to learn more about our consultants and their areas of expertise to find the best match for their program’s unique needs. This matching process is mutual—consultants also assess whether their skills and availability align with the provider’s goals. Because each consultant has limited capacity, early engagement is key to securing a spot. By connecting early and finding the right match, both providers and consultants can work together to deliver personalized, high-quality guidance that helps programs meet and exceed HCBS standards.

Consultants can assist with:

  • Staff training and development

  • Quality assurance (QA) and program review preparations

  • Documentation review and improvement

  • Guidance on complex or unique provider situations & strengthening person-centered practices and service delivery
