We are delighted to announce the Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) contracted with Bay Area Housing Corporation (BAHC), and Blue Moon Living (BML), service provider to open the first home in California designed to be fully accessible for people who are deaf or hard of hearing and have additional disabilities in the city of Newark! An open house was held on July 23rd 2025 which was open to the community. It was well attended event with lots of excitement in the air. Both BML and BAHC were selected through the RFP process, with funding approved by the Department of Developmental Services through the Community Resource Development Plan.
