Based on the 2024-25 Community Resource Development Plan needs survey, RCEB submitted the CPP/CRDP plan to the Department of Developmental Services on September 3, 2024.
On November 1, 2024, the Department of Developmental Services approved RCEB to develop the following:
- RCEB 2425-2 Multi Family-1740 San Pablo Berkeley $1,500,000
A 54 unit complex to be developed by Bridge Housing, where 14 units will be set aside for individuals with a developmental and or intellectual disability. The 14 units will be have project based vouchers.
- RCEB 2425-3 Mobile Crisis $100,000
To enhance an existing mobile crisis service to allow for up to 2 staff to be able to take an adult client experiencing a crisis away for the situation or family environment for a brief amount of time to help allow for the client to de-escalate.
- RCEB 2425-4 Specialized Substance Use Disorder Integrated Tx. $100,000
To develop a Specialized Substance Use Disorder Integrated Treatment that can provide counseling and rehabilitation to individuals with developmental disabilities who have substance abuse disorder.
RCEB intends to post a Request for Proposals for the development of a mobile crisis service and Specialized Substance Use Disorder Integrated Treatment service on January 7, 2025.
