The Court has provided preliminary approval of the Capitol People First v. Department of Developmental Services Settlement Agreement and scheduled an April 24, 2009 Court Hearing regarding Final Approval of the Settlement Agreement. At the Regional Center of the East Bay, we envision a future where people with developmental disabilities are truly part of their community. We recognize that individuals with developmental disabilities and their families have unique and changing needs. We seek to meet those needs by providing information and supports that are community-based, flexible, accessible, and responsive to each unique situation.
